Online sessions for students with OCD and BDD
Life at university can be difficult if you have OCD or BDD, especially during a pandemic. Join a safe and open online group, created specifically for students, to explore and discuss what you’re experiencing.
The support includes:
- Two support groups a month
- A monthly Navigating Services session
- A monthly speaker session from a leading clinician
The support groups and information sessions are provided by OCD Action, a charity that supports people with OCD and related conditions.

What happens in the support group?
The support group is an open, supportive space for you and other students to talk about your experience of living with OCD, BDD or related conditions, and to meet and connect with people who are going through similar things.
The groups are led by trained volunteer facilitators who have lived experience of being a student with OCD, BDD or a related condition.
What happens in the information sessions?
As well as two support groups a month, you will also have access to a monthly speaker session from a leading clinician in the field and a monthly Navigating Services information-based session, where you can learn about accessing treatment for OCD, BDD and related conditions.
